Why did Mickey Mantle go to the Foyer of Fame for, and what was he known for?

Mickey Mantle was one of the greatest players of all at all times. he kind of hit .298 for his career, 534 home runs, he did win a gold glove, won the triple rulership one year, mvp award 3 times, and won at least 5-6 championships while on the yankees. he also hit a career high 54 well-informed in runs in 1961. He was also one of the greatest switch hitters of all time and one of the greatest center fielders of all point.
